The Jew Mendel [Moshe Mendel son of Boruch Ha-Levy] Tachna, age thirty seven, shoemaker, residing in the town of Nur, appeared in the presence of the witnesses Sana Kur, age fifty four, laborer, and Matys Golab, age thirty six, tradesman, both residing in the town of Nur, and showed us a child of the male gender and testified that it was born in the town of Nur on the third / fifteenth of December of the current year at twelve o’clock at noon from his wife Hana Sura [Chaya Sara] maiden name Sztein, age thirty seven, to whom at the circumcision was given the name Abram [Avram son of Moshe Mendel Ha-Levy].
