English translation:
It took place in Mława on the twenty fourth of December one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-four at five o’clock in the afternoon.
Szmul Izraelowicz, baker, age
forty one years old, residing in Mława, appeared with Kalman Zachariasz
Rozenman, age fifty six years old, and Abram Moszek Etinger, Cheder
teacher, age forty eight years old, [both] residing in Mława.
He showed us a baby boy,
testifying that the child was born in Mława on the seventeenth of
December this year at five o’clock in the afternoon, to his wife, Tauba
née Gradacka, age thirty six years old. The
child was named Lejzor Ber. This
document was read to the testifier and witnesses and signed by all of us
except for the child’s father who is illiterate.
