It happened in the town of Mlawa on the sixth of August, eighteen hundred and seventy four at five o’clock in the afternoon. Icek Lejb Tachna, age twenty nine, trader, residing in the town of Mlawa, appeared in the presence of the witnesses Kalman Zachariasz Rozenman, house owner, age fifty six, and Abram Moszek Etynger, synagogue sexton, age forty eight, both of whom residing in the town of Mlawa, and presented us a child of male gender, stating that it was born in the town of Mlawa on the thirtieth of July of the current year to his wedded wife Brana Laja née Lando, age twenty eight. This child was given the names Josek Chaim. This document was read aloud to the declarant and the witnesses and signed by us, the father and the witnesses.
