It took place in Mława on nineteenth of December one thousand eight hundred and sixty eight at nine o’clock in the morning. Szmul Izraelowicz, age thirty seven years old, residing in Mława, appeared with Zelman Niborski, age fifty five years old, and also Kalman Zachariasz Rozenman, age fifty years old, [both] residing in Mława. He showed us a baby boy, testifying that the child was born in Mława on the twelfth of December this year at two o’clock at night, to his wife, Tauba née Gradacka, age thirty years old. The child was named Juda. This document was read to the testifier and witnesses and signed by all of us except for the child’s father who is illiterate.
