Cohn, Aleksandr

(born 1897, Kharkov; died 1941) Economist, professor at Moscow University. He was the author of O novi "ekonomike" E. A. Preobrazhenskogo (1927), Finansovyi kapital i imperializm; populiarnyi ocherk (1928) and Kurs pliticeskoj ekonomii (1929) . In 1935 he translated Das Kapital for a new edition of the works of Karl Marx. He was in the army in World War II and died at the front in 1941.
