Heryng, Julian

  • Born: 1888
  • Died: 1920 ? at age 32

  General Notes:

He took part in the Revolution of 1905 in Warsaw, at the age of 17, and was imprisoned in the Warsaw Citadel and in Pawiak Prison. He was associated with Felicja Alter (1886-1960). But apparently she was not Julian's wife since in the above ment ioned book by Marta Sikorska-Kowalska, Felicja is described as his "partner" rather than his wife. Felicja was an active member of the Polish Communist Party and the SDKPiL [Social Democracy of the Kingdom of Poland and Lithuania]. She used th e pseudonyms "Alice," "Edyta" and "Felka."
