(Born 1881, born on a ship on the Yenisei River, Siberia; died 1937). Stefanja was a dedicated socialist like her parents. She was married to Maksymilian HOrwitz in Krakow in 1905 (JRI). According to Joanna Olczak-Ronikier, in her book In The G aren of Memory (2004) Jozef Pilzudksi was a witness at their wedding. Maks (born September 6, 1877, Warsaw; died September 20, 1937, Moscow) was a well known socialist/communist revolutionary. He used the pseudonym Henryk Walecki and was also kn own as "Comrade Wit." He was a member of the PPS left wing faction and later a member of the Polish Communist Party from its foundation in 1918. He was also very active in the Comintern (Communist International). He was executed in 1937 durin g Stalin's pruges of the Polish Communist Party. According to Olczak-Ronikier, Stefanja probably died around the same time as Maks in the purges but her exact fate is unknon. Stefanja also used the surname "Bielsk." Stefanja and Maks HOrwitz ha d three children.


Stefanja married Maksymilian Horwitz in 1905 in Kraków, Poland. (Maksymilian Horwitz was born on Sep 6, 1877 in Warsaw, Poland and died on Sep 20, 1937 in Moscow, Russia.)
