General Notes:
He was the eldest child of Sora Rochel nee Cohn and Wolf Michel Cohn (Leipziger). He was born in 1791, perhaps in Warsaw, and died in 1881 (or 1882 or 1883) in Sochaczew. He was married to Braindla, a daughter of Rabbi Jacob Lorbeerbaum of Liss a (Lesno). Braindla was born circa 1794.
He was a merchant and a Chassidic Rabbi. He was a disciple of the Chassidic rebbes Simcha Bunem of Pzysucha, Menachem Mendel Morgenstern of Kock (the Kotzker rebbe), and Itzchak Meir Rothernberg Alter of Ger [Gora Kalwaria] (the Chiddushei HaRim) . Many of his descendants are Chassidic rabbis.
MAHARACH married Breindel Lorbeerbaum, daughter of Rabbi Jakób Lorberbaum from Lissa and Sheindel Ashkenazi. (Breindel Lorbeerbaum was born about 1794 and died on Apr 26, 1871 in Sochaczew, Sochaczew, Warszawa, Russian Empire, Poland.)
