In her birth record, her father Mojzesz Wolf Cohn, is described as living permanently in Warsaw, but temporarily in Kazimierz. She was married to Zygmunt (Zelman Efroim) Lichtenfeld (born November 13, 1842, Lublin; died April 25, 1909, Lodz). Th ey were married in Warsaw in 1871. Zygmunt (Zelman) was a son of Iszer Maier Lichtenfeld and Chaia Cohn, who was a daughter of Wolf Michel Cohn and Sora Rochel Cohn of Warsaw. (Chaia Cohn is a sister of Mojzesz Cohn). Zygmunt Lichtenfeld wa s a wealthy industrialist and philanthropist in Lodz.

Zygmunt Lichtenfeld was an industrialist. He moved to Lodz and worked at first in the Silberstein factory. He became a chairman of the Dabrowka Worsted Wool Spinning-mill Stock Association. He was a member of several charitable and philanthropi c organizations in Lodz such as the Jewish Charity Associatoin, the Bykur Cholim associatioin, and a school for Jewish girls. He also belonged to the Credit Association and the Office for Senior Merchants Assembly in Lodz. He is buried in the Br acka Street Cemetery.
