General Notes: Wife - Ester Cohn

Married to Markus Lajb Frankel, a native of Lwow. He was a son of Jozef Majer Frankel, a negocyant in Lwow, and Chaja Lyba nee Sokler. Ester and Markus Lajb were married in Lwow in 1885. This was presumably a second marriage -- a civil ceremony . At the time of this marriage registration Ester was 46 years and 5 months old, and Markus Lajb was 47. The marriage was registered on November 9, 1885.

Ester and Markus Lajb moved to Vienna. Ester is buried in the Wiener Zentralfriedhof (Tor 1, Group 50, Row 58, Grave 97) (same grave location as grave of Clara Linie). She was buried on May 3, 1921. She was 82 at the time of her death and her a ddress was 1070, Westbahnstrasse 60 (same as her son-in-law, Izaak Sluzker; so presumably she was living with her daughter Sara Ruchel and son-in-law Izaak Sluzker).
