It happened in the town of Mlawa on the first of June, eighteen hundred and seventy eight at two o’clock in the afternoon. Icek Lejb Tachna, skin / leather* dealer, age thirty four, residing in the town of Mlawa, appeared in the presence of the witnesses Kalman Zachariasz Rozenman, house owner, age sixty, and Abram Moszek Etynger, synagogue sexton, age fifty six, both of whom residing in the town of Mlawa, and presented us a child of male gender, stating that it was born in the town of Mlawa on the twenty fifth of May of the current year at ten o’clock in the evening to his wedded wife Brana Laja née Landau, age thirty one. This child was given the name Zurek. This document was read aloud and signed by the ones present.
