It happened in the town of Mlawa on the fifth of December, eighteen hundred and seventy two at ten o’clock in the morning. Icek Lejb Tachna, age twenty eight, trader, residing in the town of Mlawa, appeared in the presence of the witnesses Józef Baranowski, age sixty one, and Zelman Niborski, age fifty nine, both of whom synagogue sextons residing in the town of Mlawa, and presented us a child of male gender, stating that it was born in the town of Mlawa on the twenty ninth of November of the current year at five o’clock in the morning to his wedded wife Brana Laja née Landau, age twenty five. This child was given the name Chuta*. This document was read aloud to the declarant and the witnesses and signed by us, the witnesses and the father.
