It happened in the town of Mlawa on the thirtieth of August, eighteen hundred and sixty nine at nine o'clock in the morning. Icek Jankief [Yitzhak Yakov son of Yehudah Ha-Levy] Tachna, trader, thirty seven years old, residing in the town of Mlawa, appeared in the presence of the witnesses, Zelman Niborski, fifty five years old, and Kalman Zacharyasz Rozenman, fifty one years old, both of whom residing in the town of Mlawa, and presented us a child of male gender testifying that it was born in the town of Mlawa on the twenty second of August of the current year at twelve o'clock midnight to his legitimate wife, Chana Laja [Channah Leah daughter of Moshe Tzvi] (of the family Citrin), thirty two years old. This child was given the name Szlama [Shlomo son of Yitzhak Yakov Ha-Levy]. This document was read aloud to the witnesses and then signed by the witnesses.
