It happened in the village of Zareby Koscielne on the twenty ninth of July, eighteen hundred thirty two at half past three in the afternoon.  The Jew Hersk Leybkowicz Tachna, Rodal scribe [Scribe of Torah Scrolls], age forty five, residing in the village of Zaremby, appeared in the presence of the witnesses Chaim Migdal, day laborer, age sixty, and Abraam Zylberberg, tailor, age twenty one, both of whom are residing in the village of Zaremby, and showed us a child of female gender, born in the village of Zaremby on the twenty ninth of February of the current year at eight o’clock in the evening, to his wife Szeyna Jankielowna, age thirty five, to whom was given the name Sosia.  This document was read to those, whom appeared, and signed only by the Holder of the Vital Records, whereas all those present testified that they cannot write.
