It seems he also moved to the USA and lived in San Jose. In the US Census of 1940 Adolph Frankel, age 66, born in Austria, is living with his sister, Eugenia Cohn, a widow, age 71, born in Austria, on 1442 Shasta Avenue in San Jose, California . According to the Williams Funeral Home records he was born on December 14, 1874 and died on June 14, 1953.
It's possible that he married Sara (b. 1880). They are listed in the 1920 census living in the Bronx, NY. It says he was born in Galicia in 1874. Assuming this is correct, they had at leas the following two children (who are mentioned in the 19 20 census): Adele Frankel (b. 1902) and Henry Frankel (b. 1914).
