Jozef Kaftal died, perhaps, in 1892 in Warsa, since in JRI there is a death record of a Jozef Kaftal in that year. The Kaftal were a well-known wealthy family in Warsaw. The Jewish press often mentions the Kaftal Brothers, which included Heinric h, Bernhard, and Jozef. In his book Dzieje handlu zydowskiego na ziemiach polskich (1937) Ignacy Schiper lists Saul Kaftal as a member of the Dozor Bozniczy [Synagogue Inspection Committee] for the year 1848.

Teodora married Jozef Josek Kaftal, son of Szoel Kagtal and Rayzla, on Mar 19, 1861 in Warszawa, Mazowieckie, Poland. (Jozef Josek Kaftal died about 1892.)
