She was married to Jan Grossman (Grosman), son of Lazarus Grossman and Rozalia Buchner. Jan was an industrialist (co-owner of a button factory) and active in community affairs in Czestochowna. He was co-founder of a society for spinning mills an d weavers and was one of the founders of a Polish gimnazjum [high school'.

Ewelina and Jan Grossman are both buried in the same tomb in the Warsaw Jewish Cemetery.
