In the chapter "A Family Chronicle" by Inna Shikheeva-Gaister, included in the book In the Shadow of the Revolution: Life Stories of Russian Women; from 11917 to the Second World War (by Sheila Fitzpatrick and Yuri Slezkine, 2000), Shikheeva-Gai ster lists Marisha Usievich, daughter of Elena Usievich, as one of her childhood friends (page 371).
