Jonas, Moshe Izik ^1,2,9

   Another name for Moshe was Jonas, Moshe Izik (Morris).¹⁸⁴

  General Notes:

Morris Izik was a very very learned and sharp person; very learned in Torah with strong convictions and he was a fighter for the truth. He could read from the Torah; and lead prayer services in his synogogue and would be the person to blow the sh ofar on Rosh Hashannah and Yom Kippur. He resided next to a forest near Cadea, Austro-Hungary. It was an extremely small village near Tashnad. Part of his house served as an inn where they served refreshments to lumber workers who were cutting t imber nearby.
A story related by Yosef Bosci was that when he was a young child, Morris Izik Jonas asked him what he was learning in school. After answering, Morris Izik Jonas gave Yosef Bosci a pat on the cheek and maybe even some candy as a reward.

Moshe had a relationship with Ida Hoffman, daughter of Moshe Hoffman and Devorah Klein. (Ida Hoffman was born in 1874 in Vezeror Lasztomer, Hungary ^1,2,9 and died on May 26, 1944 in Auschwitz Death Camp - Holocaust, Oswiecim, Malopolskie, Poland ^1,2,9.)
