She was married to Dr. Moshe Elias Oransz. He wrote a few books about thermal cures as well as a travel guidebook about Crotaia, Dalmatia, and Bosnia. They lived in Vienna and later in Grado, a spa town between Venice and Trieste, at that time p art of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, but after 1918 part of Italy. In grado Maurizio ran a spa called "Casa Salute" [or, Casa di Cura-Albergo "Alla Salute"] for patients undergoing the thermal cure. On November 16, 1943 he was arrested in Triest e and deported to Auschwitz. Probably Sophie was arrested and deported with him. "My Heritage" gives his date of death as Dec. 10,, 1943.


Sofie married Dr. Moshe Morytz Maurizio Elias Oransz on Mar 6, 1898. (Dr. Moshe Morytz Maurizio Elias Oransz was born on Oct 18, 1866 in Swidnica, Galicia, Poland and died on Dec 10, 1943 in Probable Auschwitz Death Camp, Holocaust.)
