It seems he also moved to the USA and lived in San Jose. In the US Ce nsus of 1940 Adolph Frankel, age 66, born in Austria, is living with h is sister, Eugenia Cohn, a widow, age 71, born in Austria, on 1442 Sha sta Avenue in San Jose, California. According to the Williams Funera l Home records he was born on December 14, 1874 and died on June 14, 1 953.
It's possible that he married Sara (b. 1880). They are listed in th e 1920 census living in the Bronx, NY. It says he was born in Galici a in 1874. Assuming this is correct, they had at leas the following t wo children (who are mentioned in the 1920 census): Adele Frankel (b . 1902) and Henry Frankel (b. 1914).
