Grossman, Kazimierz Alfred

  General Notes:

He was married to Irena Zofia Kraushar from Warsaw, daughter of Daniel Kraushar and Cecylia Kaplan. Like his father Jan Grossman, Kazimierz was an industrialist (owner of a factory) and involved in community affairs in Czestochowa. He belonged t o the administration of the Society for Hygiene; was a member of the tutelary council for trade schools at the Talmud Torah in Czestochowa; was a general secretary of the committee and director of the Exhibition Bureau; secretary of the Society fo r the Promotion of Knowledge; and a co-organizer of the exhibition against tubercular consumption. Kazimierz wrote an article about the history of industry and current industry for the "Guidebook to the Industry and Agricultural Exhibition in Cze stochowa, August-September, 1909."
