Zygmunt Lichtenfeld was an industrialist. He moved to Lodz and worked at first in the Silberstein factory. He became a chairman of the Dabrowka Worsted Wool Spinning-mill Stock Association. He was a member of several charitable and philanthropi c organizations in Lodz such as the Jewish Charity Associatoin, the Bykur Cholim associatioin, and a school for Jewish girls. He also belonged to the Credit Association and the Office for Senior Merchants Assembly in Lodz. He is buried in the Br acka Street Cemetery.
