General Notes:
He settled in Bialystok in 1899, where he was a well known eye doctor . He had his own clinic which attracted many patients from various pl aces. According to the Bialystok Yizkor book, "he demonstrated wonder s with his operations." In 1925 he received an honorary degree from t he University of Vilna. He was an active Zionist and also a represent ative [viborshtshik] to the second Duma [Russian Parliament]. In 192 8 he moved to Warsaw where he died. His son took over his clinic in B ialystok.
Dr. married Aneta Kriess on Jul 10, 1894 in Odessa, Urkraine.
