General Notes:
Named after her great grandmother Toni Weissman Wronker who was born January 19, 1901 in Leipzig, Germany. During the Nazi era, all Jewish women wre required to take the name Sarah and men were required to take the first name Israel. Along with t he yellow star ,this allowed the Germans to seperate them out from the rest. From that time on, Toni always used Sarah as her middle name in memory and honor of all those killed in the Holocaust. Toni Jonas-Silver was also given Sarah as a middl e name for the same reason. Toni Jonas-Silver was also given Sarah as a middle name for the same reason.
