General Notes:
Named after her great grandmother Toni Weissman Wronker who was born J anuary 19, 1901 in Leipzig, Germany. During the Nazi era, all Jewish w omen wre required to take the name Sarah and men were required to tak e the first name Israel. Along with the yellow star ,this allowed th e Germans to seperate them out from the rest. From that time on, Ton i always used Sarah as her middle name in memory and honor of all tho se killed in the Holocaust. Toni Jonas-Silver was also given Sarah a s a middle name for the same reason. Toni Jonas-Silver was also give n Sarah as a middle name for the same reason.
