In 1869 she married the famous wealthy banker and philanthropist Hipolit Wawelberg (son of Henryk Wawelberg and Felicja Chojnacka). Hipolit was the owner of the banking house "H. Wawelberg" in Warsaw and St. Petersberg.

Ludwika Zofia and Hipolit are buried beside each other in the Warsaw Jewish Cemetery. Ludwika: (sector 20, row 6, number 14). According to her tombstone she was born on December 15, 1852 (slightly different from the date given in her birth reco rd. Szkice genealogiczne also gives her date of birth as December 15, 1852). Hipolit: (sector 20, row 6, number 15). He was born on May 8, 1844 and died on October 20, 1901.
