General Notes: Husband - Mojzesz (Mosiek) Cohn

He was married first to Rochma Steinkalech (also spelled Kalkstein) on March 7, 1837 in Warszawa. Rochma was a daughter of Salomon Steinkalech (Kalkstein) and his wife Szeindla. The rabbi who performed the marriage ceremony was Salomon Liebszytz , the Cheif Rabbi of Warszawa. Rochma died on December 9, 1854 Warszawa.

Mojzesz married again on April 17, 1864 in Warszawa to Rozalia (Ruchla) Wohl, of Krakow, a daughter of Szoel (Schaul) Mordka Wohl and Hanna nee Luksenburg. According to this marriage record, Mojzesz Cohn was divorced, so presumably this was his t hird marriage.

Ruchla Wohl's parents are buried in the Warsaw Jewish Cemetery. Her mother's full Hebrew name is Chana Tamar. Her father is Ber Luksendburg. She died on April 3, 1865. Her daughter Ruchla's name is also on the tombstone inscription, so it seem s that she was also buried in her mother's grave. According to the additional information from the cemetery website, Chana Tamar is from Krakow and her father is a son of Cwi Hirsz of Lublin and Rachel nee Kohn.

Riuchla Wohl's father died on March 30, 1866. His fatehr was Tzvi Hersh Wohl, the rabbi of Lublin.

Ruchla Wohl's parents were married in Krakow in 1813 (JRI).
