She married Eduard Lissner. He died in Padua, Italy on October 4, 194 0. Ella was a teacher and in 1947 she was living in Padua, but planni ng to emigrate to San Remo, and eventually to Palestine (Israel).

From the Additions and Corrections, from June, 1950: "In 1948 she lef t Padua and went to her son Helmuth in Haifa. In December, 1949 she f lew to Manila where she now lives with her son Lothar."
