She was married to the well-known Warsaw banker Michael Shereshevksy [Szereszowski], originally from Brisk, who was a brother of the senator R. Shereshevsky. The names of Chaia and Michael Szerszowski are contained in the Yad Vashem database, a s well as their son Oskar Jerzy Szereszowski. All three were in Romania during World War Two as refugees. The source is a "card file of Jewish refugees from Poland who found refuge in various countries, 1939-1941." Chaia's ID # is 6581560. He r file gives her age as 61 and states that she was from Warsaw and was in Romania during the war as a refugee. Michael's ID # is 6544005. His file says he was a banker from Warsaw and was in Romania during the war as a refugee.
