He was married to Regina Eiger (b. March 1, 1876, Czestochowa, Poland ; d. Treblinka). He was a wealthy industrialist and also a philanthro pist like his parents and brother Mieczyslaw. Stanislaw also had an i nterest in music. He was active in various charitable and social affa irs in Lodz and was also a candidate for the Parliament (Duma). He li ved in France from 1930-1942. According to the obiturary of Ada Propp er he lived in Capbreton, in Aquitaine, near Spain. He was in Franc e when he was arrested and held in the camp at Drancy. Later he was t ransported to Auschwitz. Stanislaw and Regina Silberstein had three c hildren.
