General Notes: Wife - Adela Cohn

She married Leon Chajes (b. 1828, Zolkiew; d. 1891, Vienna) in Zolkiew in 1844. He was a son of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Chajes (1805-1855), rabbi of Zolkiew and Kalisz, and well known author and scholar. On their actual marriage record the witnesses ar e Mayer Chajes and Mayer Cohn. Leon later married again twice. We don't know if his wives died or if they divorced. His other wives were: Rachel Minz (m. 1869 in Zoliew) and Bascha Sussman/Epstein (m. 1879 in Zolkiew).
