General Notes: Wife - Zofia Halina Aleksandra Kon

Her first husband was Jakub Mordka Pinczewski (June 21, 1899, Kalisz). He was a doctor (neurologist). Jakub probably died i the Majdanek death camp in 1943. Zofia's second husband was Brzezinski (given name unknown). Zofia was living in the Wa rsaw Ghetto during the war. She wrote a book in Swedish, published in 1983, about her life during the war. A Polsih translation of the book was published in Warsaw in 1996 under the title Zolte tulipany [Yellow Tulips]. She also gave an intervi ew about her wartime experiences on February 24, 1997 for the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education.
