General Notes: Husband - Chaim Yechiel Borensztein

Authority on the Jewish calendar. He wrote many articles on the history of the Jewish calendar. He also translated Shakespeare's play Hamlet, and Farys by Adam Mickiewicz, into Hebrew. He was secretary of the Great Synagogue on Tlomackie Stree t in Warsaw. He was a friend of Nachum Sololow, who wrote an essay about Bornstein in his book Ishim.

He was also a Levite.
