It happened in the town of Mlawa on the sixteenth of October, eighteen hundred and ninety six at ten o’clock in the morning. Abram Moszek Etynger, age seventy four, and Symche Watmacher, age forty one, both of whom synagogue sextons residing in the town of Mlawa, appeared and declared to Us that yesterday at three o’clock in the afternoon died in the town of Mlawa Pessa Tachna, six days old, son of Szymsie and Zysa married couple Tachna. After having convinced ourselves with our own eyes about the passing of Pessa Tachna this document was read aloud to the declarants and signed by Us and them.
