It happened in the town of Nur on the thirty first of May eighteen hundred eight five at eight o’clock in the morning that the Jews Sana Kur, age sixty, and Szrol Szarera, age fifty three, both shoemakers, residing in the town of Nur, appeared and testified that yesterday at six o’clock in the morning died in Nur Dwejra Gitla [Devorah Gitla daughter of Moshe Mendel Ha-Levy] Tachna, two years old, daughter of Mendel [Moshe Mendel son of Boruch Ha-Levy] and Channah Sura [Channah Sara], maiden name Sztein, married couple Tachna, shoemakers. After having convinced ourselves with our own eyes about the death of Dwejra Gitla Tachna, this document was read to those who appeared and only signed by us, whereas the others in the mentioned document testified that they cannot write.
