English translation:
It happened in the town of Mlawa on the
seventeenth of February, eighteen hundred and seventy seven at ten
o’clock in the morning. Juda Nyson Tachna, shoemaker, age twenty two,
residing in the town of Mlawa, appeared in the presence of the witnesses
Kalman Zachariasz Rozenman, house owner, age fifty nine, and Abram
Moszek Etynger, synagogue sexton, age fifty, both of whom residing in
the town of Mlawa, and presented us a child of male gender, stating that
it was born in the town of Mlawa on the tenth of February of the current
year at eight o’clock in the morning to his wedded wife Estera Maria née
Wajnberg, age twenty one. This child was given the names Chaim Wulek
[Chaim Wółek]. This document was read aloud and signed by the ones
present. The father of the child cannot write.
