It happened in the town of Mlawa on the twenty seventh of May, eighteen hundred and seventy at ten o’clock in the morning. Lejb Tachna, trader, age twenty five, residing in the town of Mlawa, appeared in the presence of the witnesses Józef Baranowski, age fifty nine, and Zelman Niborski, age fifty seven, both of whom synagogue sextons residing in the town of Mlawa, and presented us a child of female gender, stating that it was born in the town of Mlawa on the twelfth of May of the current year at five o’clock in the afternoon to his wedded wife Brana Laja née Landau, age twenty two. This child was given the name Sura Jenta. This document was read aloud to the declarant and the witnesses and signed by us, the witnesses and the father.
