It took place in the city of Nur, on August the eighth, eighteen hundred and fifty nine, at one o’clock in the afternoon.  Sana Chunowicz Kur, a Jew, age thirty one years old, a shoemaker, have appeared with two Jews: Herszek Jośkowicz Kęp, age thirty four years old, a shoemaker, and Lejzor Herszkowicz Mendelbajm, age forty eight years old, a baker, both from Nur. He showed us a baby girl testifying that she was born in the city of Nur, on July the twenty second, eighteen hundred and fifty nine at five o’clock in the evening to his wife Sosa Abramowna née Tachna, age thirty years old. During the ceremony the baby was named Chaja. This document was read and signed by a second testifier and a clerk of the registry office because father and a first testifier are illiterate.
