Sana Chunowicz Kur, a Jew, age thirty years old, a shoemaker, and
Jankiel Pekowicz Danenberg, a Jew, age fifty eight years old, a
shoemaker, both from Nur, have appeared testifying that Gitla Sanowna
Kur, age eight weeks old, died on June the seventh/June the nineteenth,
eighteen hundred and fifty eight, at eight o’clock in the morning, in
the city of Nur. She was a daughter of Sana Kur and Fejga née Chunowicz,
residing in the city of Nur. Survived by Parents and one brother named
Chuna, age nine years old, residing with parents in the city of Nur. She
didn’t leave any possessions. We have confirmed the death of Gitla
Sanowna Kur. This document was read, loud and intelligibly, to
testifiers: one is a father of the deceased, the other is her neighbor.
Document was signed by a clerk because both testifiers are illiterate.
