It happened in the town of Mlawa on the first/thirteenth of December, eighteen hundred and forty eight at two o’clock in the afternoon.  It is known that in the presence of  Jewish witnesses Lewin Szmulewicz Landau, teacher in Mlawa fifty seven years old and Matys Szpiera a taylor from Mlawa sixty seven years old, a religious wedding was contracted between Jews Zorach Anysz, age thirty three, widower residing in Mlawa and born in the town of Mlawa from Jewish parents Josef who is deceased and Dwojry (Devorah) married couple residing in Mlawa, and Jew Ryfka [Rivke daughter of Shimon] Tachnow (Tachna) widow, daughter of Jews Simiona [Shimon] and Ydy [Yehudis] married couple Lepwicki residing in Mlawa, thirty five years old supporting herself from domestic work.  The marriage was preceded by three banns.  The first on the tenth, the second on the fourteenth/twenty fifth of November, the third on the twenty third/twenty fifth of November, in the Mlawa synagogue during services here in Mlawa.  The parents gave their oral permission to process marriage documents.  There was no objections to the marriage.  The newlyweds declared that they had a premarital agreejment in the presence on the Mlawa Notary Public of the Mlawa district.  The document was read to the appearing witnesses and signed by them.
